The better ‘wetting action’ of conditioned water breaks up soil clods and improves soil texture (as you can see above) by surrounding individual soil particles with tiny droplets of conditioned water. As you know, good news travels fast. A vegetable producer whose bore water had become brackish with 2,100mg/l salt was about to plough in 10 acres of young lettuce severely affected with leaf burn. As you can imagine he wasn’t too happy with the prospect of losing $30,000. Fortunately he contacted us.

Growing melons in the 4,000mg/l salt water was impossible prior to installing a Care-Free Water Conditioner. However the melons thrived on the "conditioned" water and there was no evidence of salt-encrustation around the entire dripper system for drip irrigation.
