This 100mm Care-Free Conditioner is installed by a vegetable grower in Victoria and delivers 1,900 lit/min. Because the pump and conditioner are isolated from the ground with poly pipe, a special rod and copper pipe (EK2) are used to supply the electrical current. See insert.

It is important not to oversize. This 20mm Care-Free unit is installed into a 25mm line from a pressure system. The attached Battery Pak (EK3) supplies the electrical current.

Care-Free Conditioners Australia has virtually pulled off the impossible. With no outside assistance Care-Free has developed, and proven, a water conditioning system which actually lowers salts in the soil!

Tests confirm after 3 years of irrigating 1,000 acres of cotton in Queensland, Australia, the Chlorides 900mm below the ground level were lowered by 41%.

The local agronomists were so amazed at the results, that they are now recommending the Care-Free Conditioner to other irrigation farmers in the district.

After eight waterings the CF200MkII reduced soil chloride 77% and helped produce the best wheat crop ever

After flood irrigating lucerne only eight times the soil analysis showed a substantial reduction in chloride of 77%.
The unit was inspected part way through the season, after conditioning 400 meg. of water. It was spotlessly clean inside.
The second season the owner harvested 32 bags per acre of wheat. His best ever and the best in the district.

As you know, good news travels fast. A vegetable producer whose bore water had become brackish with 2,100mg/l salt was about to plough in 10 acres of young lettuce severely affected with leaf burn. As you can imagine he wasn’t too happy with the prospect of losing $30,000. Fortunately he contacted us.

Using water with a TDS of 2,500 mg/l, the Care-Free Conditioner produced a 50% increase in onion and eggplant crops as well as a tomato harvest of AUD$20,000 on only 1,000 sq metres. The previous season a tomato crop could not be grown at all due to the salty water.
